As a professional photographer I can help you pose, I can direct you while I take your photo and of course I control the lighting and exposure, but you are the subject and the raw material I have to work with.
To get the best images possible I need you to give me your best so I can give you mine.
Here is a short checklist of basics to help your photoshoot go smoothly
1. Look your best.
Get enough sleep.
2. Plan your outfits and accessorize each one. Have accessories for your hair
Bring at least 1 extra outfit more than you plan for the shoot. If you plan 3 looks, bring 4. Accidents happen, so be ready with extra clothes.
Bring extra shoes for the same reason.
3. Prepare your clothing.
Please be sure all clothing has been ironed if needed.
Removing wrinkles from clothing in Photoshop is tedious, time consuming and costly to you.
4. Arrive with a minimal amount of make up on. That way you aren't wasting time applying basic foundation, etc.
You can then add to it quickly as your photoshoot progresses. Bring makeup remover in case it's needed.
5. Please arrive on time.
Appointment times are set for a reason. One late start becomes a domino effect for the day and is unfair to those who came on time.
With these few rules you will be optimizing your time and mine so that together we can bring out the best in you & show it to the camera.
